damn google and jaiku.. anytime someone posts something, googletalk brings it to the forefront.... get annoying while i'm in the middle of typing stuff out. i thought i'd solved that problem by deleting jaiku as a contact from gtalk, but it still sends me messages anyway!

@conoro I'm pretty sure i saw commands that you can use to reply to specific messages using IMs like google talk.. but i forgot them fairly promptly. they must be around somewhere!

I used to use something similiar, but stopped when I moved jobs. I want two MSN accounts open at the same time now so i haven't found a program that can do that yet. (Its possible with Windows messanger and MSN live on the same pc.. but its a bit awkward). It doesn't excuse me from moving away from google talk though i guess, especcialy with jaiku in the picture :D

i'm using jaiku on google talk, and it keeps popping up.. pity the windows dont just stay minimised or something.. i keep finishing sentences into the jaiku google talk thing - catch it most of the time.. but.... :p

i just assumed they did that to make more from web advertising. people using the pop3 weren't seeing any of the zillions of ads on their email sites and were getting the email account for free.. :-)

i use the google reader, and have it as a resource on my igoogle.. but thats probably not as configurable as you need it to be.... reader.google.com is the link anyway :-)
